Global Duty Guard is designed with strict privacy principles. To calculate real-time landed cost, customs duties, and import VAT:

• We process destination country, product price, shipping amount, and product classification categories.
• We do not store buyers' personal identifiable information (PII) such as full names, credit card numbers, or physical home addresses on our servers.

2. Merchant Store Data

We access product titles and variant details solely to determine applicable 6-digit Harmonized System (HS) codes and provide tariff estimations. Store data is encrypted and retained only as long as the merchant keeps the application installed.

3. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

We fully comply with GDPR and CCPA requirements. Automated webhooks are maintained for:

• Customer Data Requests (customers/data_request)
• Customer Data Erasure (customers/redact)
• Shop Data Erasure (shop/redact)
